Okay, just got back from a marching band luncheon. (We always have one after we perform in the downtown Christmas parade.) Great desserts, lemme tell ya.

Anyhow, let's kick this off the right way: in chronological order.

Yesterday!
I went to the mall and finally got Pokemon Platinum. I intend to sell my soul to that as soon as possible - which should be today.
I also saw my one-a my buddies in GameStop when I was getting Platinum. And then again in Barnes And Noble. Stalker~ But I love her for it.

Today!
Having to get up at 6am on a Saturday hurt. We had to be at the school early, get on our marching band uniforms, and get downtown for our part in the annual Christmas parade.
Last year, we played "Do You Hear What I Hear?". This year, we played that again - but we also got to play "Sleigh Ride" every other time.
Last year, the baritone in front of me had the TV camera shoved in his face (the parade's live). This year, the piccolo next to me got stalked by the camera. And the whole time, I'm just laughing. Suckers.
Oh, and only one of our three trumpets performed in the parade. So we love him for that.
After the parade, we have to head back to the buses and go back to school. My boyfriend, who was in the parade earlier 'cause he's in his school's ROTC, found me and we were able to talk on the way.
So then out annual luncheon I mentioned at the beginning of this. They gave out a few entertaining awards, including "Most Obsessed With The Water Cart". My grandmother got little prize for helping with props at competitions, but I kept that - it's a dog tag, with a sixteenth note on one side and "Pit Crew/Props" engraved on the back.

My bestest buddai's birthday party is today. We're going to see New Moon. I'm not much for the Twilight movies, but I'll try to enjoy this - by joking, making fun of the movie, and doing other generally obnoxious things that may or may not get us thrown out. It's what I do.
Then I'm gonna, like...I dunno, maybe try to cook and burn down her house or something. We'll see.

So yeah. The major busy-ness should be over for now.
